June Grouch! Lazy doctors?

 Doctors do not examine one as they used to in the past .They ask you whats wrong and just treat one for that ailment. I was

  getting bad stomach pains and could not stop vomiting at each incident. The private doctor dismissed it at the first visit as seasonal stomach flu. At the second visit he took blood samples but never examined me physically, then announced it was an ulcer and Iwas awash with gunk for acidity!I protested i was not acid but no avail!Turns out it was a hernia and this could be seen  if they had totally undressed me ,my intestines came thru a hole on my left side of my body. Fine now,with a brace!

My latest grouch !

 Many people are now syndrome mad! Especially females. Seems to be a trend when going to the doctor .Also one upmanship! Little do they realise that no one knows what the hell is wrong with them!

As an example COXSACKIE is now flung about and is quite common. Then the poor doctor has to invent a deviant different one to please these up-market crowd.

Little do these morons realise that SYNDROME means A COMBINATION OF OPINIONS,EMOTIONS AND BEHAVIOUR!

E-Nuff !!!

No year end is complete with out Turkey, Fruit Cake, assorted Nuts. That decribes my family !  Nuff said!!!

Naomi's children said come to our house whilst we go away. Use everything and relax!

Turns out we were baby sitters for nine dogs. Two in front ,two at the back and five in the house! Large dogs front and back of house, five naughty small dogs in the house, and problems when they move into the wrong zone. Naomi cleaning up poo at 3 am in the morning! Anyway once bitten twice shy!

We need a holiday now to recover!

 Memories come and go at my age! I do remember though when a teenager it was important always to add to my age, if asked by some one whats my age i would proudly say sixteen and a half or seventeen and three quarter,or what ever was my age was ,plus,plus !

When an adult parts of a year really did not matter any more ,of course!

I was highly amused at myself yesterday as when asked by some one ,how old I was,said off handidly eighty three,then remembered that was not completely right and then added three quaters of a year! Stupid really but with all the trails and tribulations one has to go through at this age,i suppose I feel lucky to be alive!

IRRITATIONS !

1. When the doorbell or land line telephone rings and I am busy in the office ,I rush to answer it. 
When I return to the office ,first question ,where the hell did i leave my glasses? Retrace my steps,have to think about it ,eventually dejectedly end up at my desk and there they are!

Right they never added it could be very unpleasant ,did they? Obviously my fault for being naive !

A HUSBAND !

What does this term mean to one partner ,besides the obvious of being cleaved together?
It's a very useful term to a wife,even mine!
Naomi is a very independent person and that is what attracted me to her in the first place,but if she is approached by any one for something she does not want and she does not know how to brush them off then i'm a useful tool. She will then tell them them "I'll have to ask my husband first !"

MINING TO BE INVIGORATED IN SOUTH AFRICA !

Anglo Plats has given $60 million as well as the government its blessing to do research at their mining precinct facility into all aspects of fuel cell manufacture as well as use.
The whole supply will be investigated up to users.
 This bid is also encouraged by the chamber of mines.

Getting Older I think!

AT  79 had glaucoma in one eye,very painful. Better now but they refuse to operate to remove cataract ,with the excuse i must wait six months to be certain condition does not recur.
Luckily the other eye has lenses implanted and cataract removed several years ago! Put me off my entries for a couple of months,luckily Naomi helped out.

GOING FORWARD !

Our muncipality has not payed its electricitry bill to the power utility, although we buy and pay ahead for cash from the muncipality . So Escom has  partly cut supplies to our town hurting business no end. They use the payments to pay the bloated additional staff usually family members . The other day after a long strike ,I reported that had returned to work and a neighbour remarked " How can U tell ? "

                                    Serious matters
There has always been "Climate Change "since the world was first formed. I hate blaming every event upon this phenomina.
Britian recently sent an expedition to the South Pole and drilled deep into the earth beneath the ice and ground beneath. There they found that there have been at least six   very
much warmer periods over millions
 of years. They even dug up sea creatures fossils which lived in warmer waters. So the South pole had at least a temperate climate from time to time!
Another of my grouches is that one major volcano erupting produces about the amount of carbon dioxide as the human race in a year.  
As we enter a warming cycle it would be good to get our facts correct and not waste
trillions to keep to try and keep the teperature the same.

Of course one must keep the green house gasses in check where one lives as dust can cause many diseases. 
The word global warming has now been replaced by climate change!
We predict that the world is actually cooling and this is a result of the sun entering a cooler stage which last for the next half centuary ,also super volcanoes are like to blast ash almost th the edge of  our stratosphere cooling it further.
As we  loose tons of atmosphere as we whirl round the sun this will slow this process down giving oxygen a chance to recover which will help to save the earth life awhile longer.
We have to lower our breeding as over population is the biggest threat to our life styles,so many challenges remain.

Not a morning person!

I'm usually awake around 3 am every morning and get up for personal needs and running repairs! 
How ever when greeted by some friendly folk who are then going to work with a "Good Morning'" i usually reply they say with a hrumff!! which they then regard as unfriendly. Really i'm not  awake and will easily fall asleep thereafter and forget the whole incident ,difficult to explain later tho!

SEVEN DAYS......

Why is it that ones grand children fourteen year olds try to teach one how to drive ? After all they don't posses a license yet and we can remember when they were still in liquid form in their parents. Obviously we still love these little shits, damn !

The Doctor....

asked me after my check -up how I remained so fit for an eighty year old? I told him that I drink two glasses of wine every morning,smoke a  cigar and enjoy a round of golf with my father of a hundred years and grandfather of one hunderd and twenty years, except that my grand father was not playing with us this week as he was getting married."Good heavens at a hundred and twenty and he still wants to marry !" exclaims the doctor.I replied "Who said he wants to get married!"
